Thanks to all who joined this event - it was super fun to have a great group roaming the park - in what ended up being the last year of this well-known attraction under prior ownership. It was so great to share this local gem, including short lines for the roller coasters, the expansive spaces for walking, the interesting animal exhibits.
Ticket prices: $52.95 for adults, $45.95 for kids. Free for 4 and under. If you have your 2023 Fun Card annual membership, there's no charge.
If we have 15 people, we can get a group rate. RSVP here.
The 2023 Marineland season closes on October 8. As there have been rumours that this Niagara Falls venue may not open (in its current form or possibly at all) next year, we wanted to take advantage of this local gem. As always, all are welcome! Google Maps
Here's our planned schedule - feel free to join us for all or part of the day. Also here's a link to a map of the park.
Itinerary
10:00 am: Arrive for opening (Parking is always free!)
10:00 am to 11:50 am: Family Rides. After entering, turn to the left, walk past the stadium, then left again. You should see a sign for Family Attractions or Rides. This is a smaller area with great rides for kids. There are short wait lines & close proximity between rides. At 11:50, we'll head over to watch the show.
12:00 pm: King Waldorf Stadium. We recommend sitting stage right for a quick exit to the Hungry Bear for lunch.
Immediately after the show: Lunch - Hungry Bear offers hot dogs (kid and adult versions), pizza, chicken fingers, burgers, roasted chicken, fries, salads, cut vegetables. Our kids love the food.
After Lunch, we'll walk past Arctic Cove, then to the left to go on rides, feed the fish, then bears. Then we go to the Dragon Mountain roller coaster, where Devon is still too short but Brady isn't. Past this area are Red Deer, Elk and Buffalo areas. If you dare, walk back toward the park entrance then up the "mountain" to ride the Sky Screamer.
We usually conclude the day with a snack, a trip to the gift shop and a visit to the penguins at the Aquarium Dome (to the right of the entrance). The park closes at 5pm, though we will likely plan to leave by 4pm.
Notes:
Strollers, Wagons and food, beverages & water are ok. Stroller & wheel chair rentals are available.
Polar Splash isn't open & trains aren't running.
As this is close to the end of the season, snack food at the kiosks throughout the park is limited, i.e. there are no pretzels in the park. On our last visit, they did have ice cream, popcorn and nachos.
